Read this passage. Every year between March and August, leatherback turtles come ashore at Matura Beach in Trinidad. The females drag themselves up the sand at night and dig deep nests with their back flippers. Each turtle lays about eighty eggs, covers them carefully, and returns to the sea before sunrise. Around sixty days later the hatchlings break out and race towards the water. Very few of them survive to become adults, which is why volunteers patrol the beach to keep the nests safe. The passage says the turtles come ashore at night and return to the sea before sunrise. What does this suggest?
